Houston Haunts to Check Out this Halloween

If spooky Halloween season is your favorite season, you’re in luck! There’s a ton to do in Houston this year, and you won’t necessarily have to shell out a lot of money to enjoy the festivities. Check out our list of Houston haunts.

19th Street Boos & Brews: The Heights is back at it with another neighborhood event on Thursday, October 28th beginning at 5 PM! This year, they are celebrating their annual craft brew event with a haunting Halloween twist. Purchase a 19th Street signature Pilsner glass for $20 online or from Jubilee and get free refills from participating local breweries on the night of the event. Stores all over 19th Street will be giving away Halloween treats to the kids, so be sure to choose your best costumes!

Halloween Bar Crawl: If you need a reason to go all out this Halloween, $1,000 might do the trick. Crawl With Us is hosting a bar crawl on October 30th, and one lucky winner with a truly spooky costume will end the night with a wallet that’s just a bit heavier. Purchase tickets online for access to two complimentary drinks, special deals on food and beverages, waived cover fees, and more. With six venues participating and no set agenda to follow, you’re free to visit participating bars as you please up until midnight.

Halloween in the Hangar: Trick or treat among jaw-dropping aircraft at Lone Star Flight Museum on October 30th from 10 AM – noon. Members get free treat bags while supplies last, and kids under age 12 who wear costumes get free entry all day! Tickets will be available at the door.

8th Wonder Brewery Kawaii Zombie Halloween Food Festival: EaDo residents will love this two-day Halloween weekend event for so many reasons. There will be over 30 food vendors, dozens of freshly brewed beers, trick-or-treating, a costume contest, live entertainment, and more. The event is also free! Attendees are encouraged to bring cash to purchase from vendors, but there is no cover fee, and that is a boo-tiful thing.

Have fun this Halloween! Stay safe, and best of luck in all your costume contest efforts.
