Where to get Tea in Houston

Locating a good cup of coffee can be a challenge, so finding an establishment that sells high-quality tea? Not so easy. However, I am here to tell you about which Houston tea shops are my cup of tea. I hope you enjoy them too! Check out my top choices of where to get tea in Houston.

McHugh Tea House
If you’re a fan of organic tea, you will not regret trying some of the full-bodied options available at McHugh Tea House in Bellaire. And you can do way more than just enjoy tea there! McHugh’s offers cooking classes, tea classes, and lovely party rooms for intimate gatherings. McHugh Tea House also has really delicious lunch options, so I’d recommend heading there for a bite to eat too.

Path of Tea
Path of Tea sells some of the best organic and free trade teas at their location at 2340 W. Alabama Street in Houston. It also offers an assortment of gifts, including tea infusers and adorable kettles. This establishment also hosts tea tastings and other fun events. Whether you like black tea, chai tea, oolong tea, or some other variety of tea, the Path of Tea has something for you.

Kung Fu Tea
Kung Fu Tea is one of my absolute favorite spots in Houston to grab a quick drink! Not only does it serve fabulous traditional teas, it also offers energy drinks, thai teas, specialty seasonal teas, bubble teas, and more. There are several Kung Fu Teas in the Houston area, and it could take you a while to try every drink on the menu.

EQ Heights
Equilibrium Social House (EQ Heights) on Heights Boulevard is more than just a coffee and tea house: it’s a place to socialize with friends and family to catch up. That said, its locally-roasted coffee is full-bodied and tastes amazing. EQ Heights also serves excellent teas from its collection of loose-leaf teas, and has food options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. If you’re not a tea person, I recommend trying the lemon pound cake and raspberry Italian crème soda if you get the chance!
