Near Northside is a historic neighborhood located in Houston, Texas, nearby Downtown. It is bordered by Interstate 45, Hardy Street, Burnett Street, and Cavalcade Street.

Accessibility: With a Walk Score of 59, some errands can be accomplished by foot here but not all, so be sure to map things out before you head out the door. Since the community is considered bikeable, completing your errands on a bicycle may also be an option!

Parks, Recreation, and Greenspaces:  Moody Park is one of the most popular greenspaces located in this area. It’s known for its community center, which features public art, swimming, and sports fields. Moody Park also includes a cute playground area. The park itself is located nearby Little White Oak Bayou, which features a short walking trail.

Commute: This neighborhood’s location adjacent to Interstates 45, 610, 69, and 10 make it incredibly easy to hop on the highway. With at least eight bus lines and one rail line running through the neighborhood, it is also possible for some people to use public transportation.
