Accessibility: The area is considered to be quite accessible, so residents can typically complete all their errands by foot. Bicyclists will also be happy to know that the neighborhood is very bikeable. History: Developed between 1947 and 1952, this neighborhood was originally comprised mostly of ranch-style homes. In the early 1990s, the Stella Link Redevelopment Association (SLRA) formed and began to rehabilitate certain parts of the community. The McGovern-Stella Link Regional Library and McGovern Park now conveniently service the area. Within the past few decades, the neighborhood has begun transitioning from cozy ranch-style homes to custom two-story builds of other styles such as Colonials, French, and Mediterranean homes. The community is currently managed by the Braeswood Place Homeowners Association.
Shopping: The Galleria and Museum District are located close by, offering plenty of great spots for a day of shopping. Stella Link Braeswood Intersect, Braes Link Shopping Center, and Vanderbilt Square are also options for those who’d prefer to keep their business more local.
